Shipton & Heneage’s handmade, uniquely Bespoke Velvet Slippers also known to the wider public as smoking slippers or smoking shoes are world famous not just for their comfort but for their style. Each pair is hand-made in England from finest luxury  velvet and satin quilt, expertly cut out and lasted using traditional established methods over three hundred years old. Originally intended for home or club use, we are increasingly seeing our Velvet Slippers worn by the A-list stars at red carpet and black-tie events.

We serve many clients who wish to customise their Velvet shoes with their special motif. We can create emblems from your provided designs or originate emblems for you.

All of our velvet slippers can have embroidery sewn onto black, navy, red, green, brown or royal velvet. The satin quilt lining comes in a choice of black, red, blue or gold. 

The leather sole allows them to be worn outdoors.
